Hallo en bedankt voor het bezoeken van mijn portfolio site!
Mijn naam is Joep Eilander. Ik ben een animator, designer en storyboarder. Mijn passie ligt bij het excentrieke en het vertellen van verhalen; iets wat ik doe via animatie, film en illustratie. Van conceptuele illustraties naar korte films!
De kracht van mijn werk ligt vooral bij grote contrasten. Naast mijn felle kleuren speel ik veel met contrast tussen het echte leven en fantasie. Bijvoorbeeld via vreemde beesten met een alledaags leven of een gewone groep vrachtwagenchauffeurs die in een situatie belandden ver buiten hun begrip. Ik probeer in mijn kunst alle kaders van het rustige en extreme op te zoeken en deze te combineren.

My name is Joep Eilander. I’m an animator, designer and storyboard artist. My passion lies with the eccentric and in telling stories; something I do trough animation, film and illustration. From concept art to short films!
The strength in my works lies mostly in big contrasts. Apart from bold use of color I experiment with contrasts between real life and fantasy. Be it trough strange beasts in everyday situations or with an ordinary group of truckers finding themselves in a situation beyond their comprehension. With my art I look for the limits of the calm and extreme and find a way to combine them
